About These Terms

These Terms & Conditions govern all orders placed with Hakim Traders, a spice importer and supplier based in Faridpur, Bangladesh, whether placed through the cart on our website, WhatsApp, phone, or our Facebook page. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms set out below.

Orders & Quotations

Adding items to your cart and checking out sends us your order request — it does not automatically confirm stock or price. All orders are confirmed manually.

• An order is only confirmed once we've verified the item, quantity, price and delivery details with you directly on WhatsApp.
• For bulk or wholesale quantities, we'll issue a quotation before the order is finalised.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if stock is unavailable or if details cannot be verified.

Pricing & Payment

Spice prices can change with the season, harvest, and import cost, so the prices shown in the cart are indicative rather than final.

• The price you pay is the one agreed and confirmed with you before dispatch.
• You can choose Cash on Delivery, bKash, or Nagad at checkout. For bKash or Nagad, the number to send payment to is shared with you when we confirm your order on WhatsApp.
• For bulk orders, we may request full or partial payment in advance before dispatch.

Product Quality & Specifications

We check our stock for moisture, colour and general quality before it leaves our store. Spices are natural agricultural products, so minor variation in colour, size and aroma between batches is normal and not considered a defect.

• Product descriptions (origin, grade, whole/ground) reflect the batch we currently stock and may change between shipments.
• If you need a specific grade or specification for wholesale use, please confirm this with us before ordering.

Delivery & Shipping

A flat delivery charge applies based on your location: ৳80 within the city and ৳150 outside the city, shown in your cart and confirmed again with you when your order is placed. Delivery timelines depend on your location and order size.

• Delivery dates given at the time of order are estimates, not guarantees, and may shift due to courier delays or stock availability.
• Please share your delivery address carefully on WhatsApp — we are not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect address.
• Risk in the goods passes to you once the order has been handed to the delivery courier.

Returns & Claims

Because spices are consumable goods, we don't accept returns for change of mind. However, we stand behind the quality of what we send.

• If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with a genuine quality issue, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item received.
• Valid claims will be resolved through a replacement, partial credit, or refund, at our discretion, once the issue is verified.
• Claims raised after 48 hours, or without supporting photos, may not be eligible for resolution.

Bulk & Wholesale Orders

Wholesale and bulk buyers (shops, restaurants, distributors) may be offered separate pricing, minimum order quantities, and payment terms, agreed individually before dispatch. These terms sit alongside, and don't replace, the general terms above.

Limitation of Liability

We take reasonable care in sourcing, storing and dispatching our products. To the extent permitted by law, Hakim Traders is not liable for indirect losses arising from delayed delivery, or for reactions to spices in individuals with specific allergies or sensitivities — please check ingredients if you have a known allergy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our business and sourcing practices evolve. The version posted on this page is the one that applies at the time you place an order.
